Romain Le Goc
Hydrogeological Engineer
Dr Le Goc work on numerical modelling of fracture media. He is a graduate engineer in computer sciences and a Ph. D. in hydrogeology (University of Rennes, France). He is skilled in grasping natural media issues and developing efficient numerical models. He is specialized in discrete fracture network modelling for various applications (nuclear-waste disposal sites, mining, oil and gas). He also works on research projects on advanced fracture models and on investigating the link between the fracturing properties of natural media and the resulting hydraulic and mechanical properties.
