Zack Walter
Project Hydrogeologist
Zack has worked on a range of hydrogeologic projects including groundwater modeling of flow and contaminant transport in groundwater systems, characterization of public drinking-water source aquifers, water right permitting and hearing support, state discharge permit compliance, and groundwater monitoring. He has completed hydrogeologic investigations through gathering of geologic and hydrologic data, identification of borehole sites and target depths, borehole drilling using appropriate technologies, borehole geophysics and analysis of results, well completions, aquifer testing and analysis of results, and water-quality sampling. He has also conducted well rehabilitations for increased efficiencies and downhole discrete water-quality sampling. Zack has created 3-D geologic conceptual site models, built groundwater flow and fate and transport models, and presented results to agencies for contaminated sites.
