Rodrigo Silva
Senior Geomechanics Engineer
Mr. Silva has significant experience in the field of applied rock mechanics, developing 2 and 3-dimensional slope stability analyses and back-analysis of slope failures in open pit mine projects in Chile,
Perú, Argentina and México considering numerical modeling and kinematic analysis. He also has experience using numerical modeling to evaluate design in underground mines in Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Additionally, he has experience in calibration of stress fields based onin-situ stress measurements. He also has experience in field testing for rock mass pre-conditioning.
