Aim of this R&D project is the development of guidelines for the estimation of the water-conducting crack propagation above mined-out spaces above a potash deposit, using research and numerical modelling methods.
Mr. Roumelis has experience working on a variety of hydrogeological projects centered around aqueous geochemistry, fate and transport of inorganic nitrogen, and socio-hydrology. He has experience conducting international and domestic field work including pump tests, slug tests, groundwater sampling/monitoring, infiltration tests, soil classification, and vapor sampling. Additionally, he has experience in database management, hydrogeologic analysis, and numerical modeling using programs such as Excel, MATLAB, Python, and AQTESOLV.
