Benjamin Radtke

Project Hydrogeologist

Mr. Radtke has 6 years of experience conducting and supervising hydrogeologic field investigations for site characterization and conceptual model development for pre-feasibility study, feasibility study, and closure purposes. Investigations have included mine dewatering, water supply, wetland delineation and supplementation, pit slope stability, contaminant seepage remediation, and infiltration studies.

He has experience in coupling multiple different technical disciplines (e.g., hydrogeologic, geotechnical, geochemical) into one field program. Duties have included hydraulic testing (pumping, packer, airlift, slug, and injection/infiltration testing), vibrating wire piezometer installation, production/monitoring well design and installation, RMR89 geotechnical logging, USCS soil logging, and water quality and geochemical sample collection, as well as developing and managing environmental databases. He also has experience in groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling using MINEDW and MODFLOW, as well as strong skills in hydraulic data analysis. He is well versed in generating technical reports for clients and regulatory agencies.
