RESOLVE & IMaGE joint Induced Seismicity Monitoring services

Press Release

Wednesday July 6, 2016:

Resolve Energy Solutions Inc. and IMaGE (ITASCA Microseismic and Geomechanical Evaluation) are pleased to announce that they have joined forces to offer integrated induced seismicity services in Western Canada. Resolve’s focus on regulatory compliance services and environmental surveillance, combined with ITASCA’s 35+ years of experience mitigating induced seismicity makes for one exceptional service.

Resolve is headquartered in Fort St. John BC, the heart of Western Canadian shale development, offering efficient access to the Montney, Duvernay, Horn River, and Liard basins. Not only does Resolve understand the local terrain and challenges, but they also possess an outstanding safety record. Resolve uses state-of-the-art, real time seismometers and accelerometers for seismicity and ground motion monitoring, and its employees are experienced in the professional installation and maintenance of seismic monitoring equipment.

IMaGE, located in downtown Calgary, is ready to work with its clients to design the optimum array to satisfy regulatory requirements and company protocols. Its industry recognized software and processing expertise leads to reliable and transparent results that can be coupled with geomechanical models of the reservoir to explore completion alternatives, increase understanding of the reservoir, and reduce risk.

With common goals of regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and safe and efficient operation, IMaGE and Resolve strive to maintain excellent working relationships with the public, oil and gas operators and government. Both Resolve and IMaGE look forward to assisting clients with sustainable and responsible asset development through cost-effective, high-quality monitoring solutions.
