Fifth Itasca International Symposium

Itasca is pleased to announce that the 5th International Itasca Symposium will take place February 17-20, 2020 in Vienna, Austria. The Symposium will feature topics and discussion covering the application of Itasca software for solving engineering and scientific challenges in geomechanics, hydrogeology, microseismicity, and more. The Symposium will be hosted by The University of Vienna and will feature topics and discussion covering the spectrum of Itasca software: 3DEC, FLAC, FLAC3D, FLAC/Slope, Griddle, InSite, KATS, MINEDW, PFC2D, PFC3D, UDEC, XSite. The Itasca Symposium also provides a venue for Itasca software users to meet, discuss, and share their work performing applied numerical analysis and research with Itasca software. Call for Extended Abstracts

Participants are invited to submit Extended Abstracts related to the use of Itasca software, including 3DEC, FLAC, FLAC3D, FLAC/Slope, Griddle, InSite, KATS, MINEDW, PFC2D, PFC3D, UDEC, XSite. Instructions for submitting an abstract can be found on the Authors page. All submissions must be in English. Accepted submissions are expected to be presented at the symposium and will also be published online in the Proceedings of the Fifth International Itasca Symposium. Visit the previous Itasca Symposia. The best overall Extended Abstract will receive the Peter Cundall Award and will be invited to present one of the Symposium keynote addresses.
