Pingzhi (Pindar) Chen
Senior Geotechnical and Hydrostructure Engineer
Mr. Chen has six years of experience in research and application in geotechnical and hydropower engineering. He has a background in in various engineering practices including numerical modeling, foundation pit design, monitoring and rockburst-risk assessment.
Over the past three years, he has spent most of his time on site at the Jinping II Hydropower Plant, where he now leads the instrumentation and monitoring analysis for much of the Jinping II Project, including tunnels, cavern and slopes. Mr. Chen also works on the Kala Slope and Baihetan projects.
